There are four shrines to find on the Great Sky Island. Great Sky Island Shrines Guide and Locations Note that the Depths have Light Roots the illuminate the Depths and the map in of the Depths, and their locations correlate with the Shrines above them. There are no Shrines in the Depths but there are Shrines in the Sky. Your map icon will turn fully blue when you’ve completed a Shrine, but it will stay partially orange if you haven’t found the Shrine exit and Light of Blessing OR if you haven’t found all of the chests. Every Shrine has at least one treasure chest.You can return later to solve the puzzle. Shrines also serve as your key points of fast travel in Tears of the Kingdom.You don’t have to complete a Shrine to make it a fast travel point: You just need to activate the green seal in front of the shrine.Note that some Shrines aren't always visible nor will they be tracked through the Shrine of Light Sensor, and you might need to talk to a character with a red mark (this indicates Side Quests to start Shrine Quests to solve riddles to reveal their location. This will indicate a nearby Shrine, even a hidden one, and now adds some detail about whether it’s below or above you. The Shrine of Light Sensor can be obtained from the Hateno Village Research Lab and activated by Robbie after you’ve completed one temple and advanced the Lookout Landing Side Adventures that take you to the Depths called Hateno Village Research Lab.The Coordinates we provide in the Shrine Guide below will help you determine if a Shrine is above or below you. Shrines are located in the Sky and the Depths as well as the Surface. If you click the RIGHT STICK and use your telescopic pad function to mark them you can easily track them.
